Data Handling (EZChrom Elite)

This premier 32-bit product, suited for both stand-alone and Client/Server environments, is the second generation of the popular EZChrom chromatography data system. Over 45,000 EZChrom systems have been shipped to organizations throughout the world and over 100,000 chromatography channels are currently collecting data using EZChrom. Attention to quality and careful incorporation of customer-requested features drives the development of EZChrom Elite. Elite has been rated "Overall Best" Chromatography Data System in a recent survey conducted by SDi (Strategic Direction International).

Reporting

EZChrom Elite provides a variety of reporting options. Ranging from predefined and packaged reports to fully customized reports, EZChrom Elite alleviates the need to use separate software packages to provide results in the format you want.

Custom Reports: EZChrom Elite gives full control to the user when it comes to developing a method report. Add chromatograms and reports with a click of the mouse. The chromatogram can be zoomed and re-sized on the report template. Insert logos, chromatogram overlays, text boxes, or even video clips into your custom report. You have complete control over fonts, colors, orientation, and the size of items on your report.

Advanced Reports: Anyone who has used Microsoft's Excel® will be immediately comfortable with EZChrom Elite's Advanced Reporting feature. Using spreadsheet power to create custom reports brings a new level of control in formatting sequence summary reports and providing results that are meaningful and complete. Complete reporting without the use of extra programs means more efficient data management.

Custom Parameters

Create your own customized calculations that are automatically generated with each analysis. Custom parameters are available for reporting, export, and annotation.

Graphical Integration Events

EZChrom Elite Graphical integration events make getting perfect peak integration easy. Chromatogram overlays and on-screen graphical integration programming provide an innovative, visual approach to data analysis. Manual integration tools like manual baseline provide added flexibility. You can even create specialized one-time integration events that are applied to a single chromatography run. Because all integration events are saved with the original data file, it is easy to re-create the integration, even if the method has changed.

Advanced System Administration Tools

EZChrom Elite's unique design provides network-wide data management and security. Because each user and group on the system is defined through the Windows NT domain controller, the integrity of network security and its shared resources is maintained. EZChrom Elite makes setup and maintenance of laboratory projects, instruments, and users easy through the use of System Administration Wizards. These Wizards enable the System Administrator to quickly assign user and group access to individual instruments, laboratories, or even entire buildings. Projects setup ensures consistent storage of data and method files. And command-level user access adds an additional level of control and simplicity.

Audit Trails

EZChrom Elite’s Method Audit trail is a permanent part of the method and contains comprehensive information including date of change, user, change (including previous value), and reason for the change. The method audit trail can be viewed on-screen, or printed. Because the original method is saved at the time the data file is acquired, it is always possible to re-create the original results, even if the method has been modified.

EZChrom Elite’s Data Audit trail is a permanent part of the data file and tracks activities using the stored data file. It includes time, user, activity (such as new analysis) and the reason and is stored as part of the data file. The audit trail can be displayed on-screen or printed.

Electronic Signature

EZChrom Elite fully complies with 21 CFR Part 11 Electronic Signature requirements. In addition to the display of electronic signatures on the report, the signature information (Who, When, and Why) is stored within the data file with a CRC checksum to prevent tampering with the signature record. This information is also logged in the data file audit trail.
